Carla Drew and Paula Brown have completed the twelve lessons and three month discernment classes led by Peggy Gagliardi and Marcia Polsgrove.  They began their study and discernment on May 9\, 2018 and completed it on July 18\, 2018. Their crosses and full membership will be presented during our worship service today. The other members of the Chapter will also participate in the service led by The Rev. Frank Reeves\, Clergy.

Read the book or just come to listen to the discussion on Wednesday\, January 16 at 2:30 PM. In February we will take a look at unintentional racism in our lives with a discussion of the South African Novel The Woman Next Door by Yewanda Omotoso. DESCRIPTION:We enjoy an event partnership with Pathways Unitarian Universalist Church in our shopping center. We are pleased to share that they have started an Environmental Action which meets on the third Sunday of the month at 12:30 PM – bring a sack lunch. Anyone in the community is welcome to join or drop into the meetings at the Pathways Church 481 W. Harwood Rd.\, Hurst. DESCRIPTION:Plan to join others from the Episcopal Diocese of Fort Worth for Stick to Love — A Day of Service on Monday\, January 21 starting at 8:30 AM. Joining up with national celebrations\, this event honors the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King\, Jr. People of all walks of life come together across Tarrant County to serve at more than 30 service sites. Last year Bishop Scott Mayer led a large group of Episcopalians who joined more than 700 volunteers from across the county to work at 30 different service sites. Sign up to participate on the Tarrant Churches Together service form. You will be contacted with details on service project sites.
