DESCRIPTION:On the fourth Saturday of each month the Tarrant Area Food Bank delivers a tons of food to the parking lot of 4Saints Episcopal Food Pantry. Volunteers set up\, sort the food and then distribute it to our neighbors in need.  Volunteers are encouraged to dress for the weather\, wear sturdy shoes\, bring a refillable water bottle and a utility or pocket knife if you have one. \nSetup begins at 10AM and cleanup is always finished by 2PM. \nCome to our new location\, 2529 Mount View Ave\, FW 76103.

DESCRIPTION:The liturgy of Good Friday is a somber one that serves as a continuation of the Maundy Thursday liturgy from the previous evening. Therefore\, the service begins in silence as the night before ended in silence. The altar is bare and communion is not administered. The liturgy includes the solemn collects\, the veneration of the cross and the reading of the Passion. \n

SUMMARY:Maundy Thursday
DESCRIPTION:Maundy Thursday receives its name from the Latin “mandatum” or the “new commandment” given by our Lord. At the Last Supper\, Jesus washed his disciples’ feet and commanded them to love and serve one another as he had done. This service begins with a festal character as we remember the joy of the love and service which Jesus lived and taught and the institution of the Holy Eucharist. The service closes with solemnity as we turn our attention toward the agony in the garden of Gethsemane\, and the betrayal leading Jesus to the journey to the cross and crucifixion. The altar\, symbolic of Christ\, is stripped of its vesture and left bare for the solemnity of Good Friday.
