DESCRIPTION:The next On The Go Book Study will be Tuesday June 8 2-3:30 pm on Zoom. Susan Lowder from St Martin in the Fields will facilitate discussion of the novel Things Fall Apart by Chinua Achebe. It’s currently available for sale on Amazon for $6.92. \nThe short book is set in a small Nigerian village where things…fall apart. First for the main character\, then as missionaries begin arriving\, for the entire village. The book calls us to question the legitimacy of colonization and allows us to see a small part of Africa in a new way.

DESCRIPTION:The Women’s Study Group meets monthly to discuss a book\, view a movie\, or use other media to enrich our spiritual lives. There is plenty of flexibility in this welcoming group and the meeting date is flexible – check the monthly Events calendar. Join the January discussion of Everything Happens for a Reason and Other Lies I’ve Loved by Kate Bowler. Read the book or just come to listen to the discussion on Wednesday\, January 16 at 2:30 PM. In February we will take a look at unintentional racism in our lives with a discussion of the South African Novel The Woman Next Door by Yewanda Omotoso. DESCRIPTION:The St. Stephen’s Adult Forum is a free-ranging spiritual inquiry discussion group for non-church members as well as parishioners.
